Manger

Posted on December 9, 2012

A babe born in a manger, a piece of chocolate (something) handy, or an attempt to Martha Stewaring. Oh it all comes so suddenly and possessively (with eyes wide open on the ssessively part)

I wouldn’t change a thing, well maybe the shopping part.

There is much to celebrate.

At least that’s what I think.

For an instant life is sweeter, yet some things are still melancholic. We may look backwards, or maybe forwards, but the thing is.. regardless of direction, we are looking and we looking for something.
I don’t know.. it might just be. Love.

“He came upon a midnight clear*
From angels bending near the earth,
To touch their harps of gold
With peaceful wings unfurled,
their heavenly music floats
O rest beside the weary road,
And hear the angels sing!
When peace shall over all the earth
Its ancient splendors fling,
And the whole world give back the song
Which now the angels sing”
*Paragraphs from the gorgeous and well known hymn, I betcha you know it.

Some of these photos are from last year which I melancholically unfilled just because.

Being in India has made me realize, once more, that everything is a process. There is no moving sidewalk (aka walkalator) like at the airport or no cutting the line- although, that is very much accepted here in any other circumstance. But when it comes to real life, the day-to-day personal unfolding, as it were, that invisible process is still so.. well, invisible sometimes it is hard to tell what things are new and what things have always been there.. via   These are some wonderful inspiring photographs I found at the New York Public Library archive on Liberty or how the French called it La Liberté éclairant le monde.
